Montgomery police have charged one man with murder in connection with a fatal shooting March 16.

Laddavious Howard, 33, was arrested Friday and is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Howard has been charged in connection with the death of Darius Mitchell, 43, which occurred at about 8 p.m., in the 5900 block of Welbourne Place, according to police.

Mitchell was discovered dead at the scene.
