Montgomery Catholic shuts out Citronelle for 26th straight victory

Kingston Preyear tossed a pair of touchdowns to lead Class 5A No. 1-ranked Montgomery Catholic to a 43-0 victory over Citronelle on Friday night in the second round of the 5A playoffs at Memorial Stadium in Citronelle.

Preyear, a freshman, completed 9-of-12 passes for a 155 yards and threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Michael Sheffield as the Knights built a 22-0 halftime lead. Preyear also connected with Jamarion Williams for a 34-yard score.
