Mobile officials can count at least two Christmas presents this year: new economic reports show both the county’s market and jobs are growing.

Mobile County’s Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the value of goods and services produced in the county, grew 5.1% from 2022 to 2023, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. In total, Mobile County’s Real GDP in 2023 neared $23.2 billion.
