A 43-year-old Mobile woman died in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

ALEA said Friday morning the crash occurred just before midnight Thursday on Snow Road near East Way Drive, about one mile southwest of Semmes in Mobile County.

A 2016 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Tasha L. Litton left the roadway and struck a culvert. Litton was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, ALEA said.

No other details were released and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
