A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death on Darwood Drive Monday night according to the Mobile Police Department.

A spokesperson for the department said officers responded to the shooting at approximately 9:25 p.m.

After arriving at the scene they encountered a deceased male victim with a gunshot wound.

MPD is not releasing any more information tonight but said more would be shared tomorrow.
