Mobile police are investigating after a man found with life-threatening injuries in a McDonald’s parking lot Thursday has died.

Officers responded to the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 281 Schillinger Rd. around 4:05 p.m. Thursday.

Police at the scene found a man with life-threatening injuries, Frazier said.

The victim later died.

One person was detained in connection with the investigation.

Mobile police did not provide further information, but WKRG reported the man was shot several times in the chest.

The suspect’s vehicle was later found in Prichard, according to the network.
