Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine put on administrative leave amid outside probe
Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine was placed on administrative leave amid an investigation into the department’s “training, policies, pattern and practices,” a city spokeswoman told AL.com Tuesday.
Assistant Chief William “Randy” Jackson will serve as interim police chief, said spokeswoman Candace Cooksey.
“Mobile Police Chief Paul Prine has been officially placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the report by former US Attorney Kenyan Brown after a third-party review of the department’s training, policies, pattern and practices,” she said.
