Mobile man convicted of murder, robbery in deadly 2021 ambush

A Mobile County jury convicted a 30-year-old man of murder and robbery in the deadly ambush of a 21-year-old man two years ago, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Eric Gaylord, 30, of Mobile, shot into Bradley Nall’s vehicle seven times as Nall tried to flee from Gaylord and others on Jan. 30, 2021.

Nall, who was struck four times, died in the 2300 block of Randlett Drive — a few houses down the road from his home.

“My office is dedicated to bringing justice to those who take away the lives of innocent victims,” Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said in a statement released after Gaylord’s conviction. “The family of Bradley Nall can finally have peace and justice for their tragic loss.”

Gaylord was convicted of murder and first-degree robbery after one hour of deliberations.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 25.

Gaylord’s co-defendants — Demarcus Reynolds, Julian Sullivan, Jaravien Allen-White, Mary Butler and Selena Tisdale — are each facing felony murder charges for their alleged roles in the incident.
