A portion of Tanner Williams Road between Snow Road and Zeigler Boulevard in Mobile County will be closed to traffic next weekend.

Detour signs will be in place and through traffic will be detoured Nov. 11-13 to Snow Road, Airport Boulevard and Schillinger Road.

The road closure is necessary to install a drainage pipe in advance of the construction of additional lanes along the segment of Tanner Williams Road, according to Mobile County Director of Public Affairs and Community Services Sharee LeBlanc Broussard.

Broussard states that the road closure is in Mobile County Commission District 2, and all construction activities are weather-dependent.
