A Mobile County man was arrested at his home Wednesday morning on five counts of possessing child pornography, authorities said.

John Lewandowski, Jr., 46, of Theodore, was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail around 8 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said in a statement, according to WKRG.

The sheriff’s office’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received several tips about child sexual abuse material, which led them to search Lewandowski’s home Wednesday.

Lewandowski’s bond hearing is set for Friday.
