Mobile County 911 director arrested for DUI had two previous intoxication charges
Authorities in Baldwin County arrested the director of Mobile County 911 for driving under the influence late Saturday night, according to booking information from the sheriff’s department.
Charles Kane McNichol, 58, has been charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond, according to the entry.
McNichol has had two similar arrests, according to news reports. In 2020, he was arrested by Daphne police after he was found unconscious behind the wheel of his county-issued vehicle. He also faced a public intoxication charge in 2018 for an incident that occurred when he was in his vehicle, according to WKRG.
McNichol could not be immediately reached for comment.
