Former Mobile Christian football coach Ronnie Cottrell knew quickly that Damien Gatson was special.

“He was just so athletic,” Cottrell said. “There was nothing he couldn’t do – baseball, basketball, football. He was so talented, but I never could have dreamed he would accomplish what he did in football. He was phenomenal for our program.”
