Mobile apartment complex sells for big bucks
The 12-unit 55 East Drive Apartments in Mobile was purchased for $1.35 million by a local investor, according to Cameron Weavil of The Weavil Company, who represented the buyer. Kenny Nichols of Vallas Realty worked for the sellers. The complex near the University of South Alabama is fully leased.
Investors paid $195,000 for a .64 acre lot near Rouses supermarket on U.S. 31 in Spanish Fort, according to Chris Harle of White-Spunner Realty and Jay O’Brien of Stirling Properties, who handled the transaction.
Beach Getaways, a rental agency, is seeking site plan review approval to construct a 5,000-square-foot building at 24420 Canal Road in Orange Beach.

A planned 166-site RV Park is seeking final site plan approval to locate on U.S. 287 north of Bay Minette, according to the Baldwin County Planning Commission. Oak Ridge RV Park would be just north of Louis Cooper Road.
