MJ Gideon scored two touchdowns in his comeback from last year’s season-ending injury as James Clemens beat Gardendale 17-10 in tonight’s season opener at Madison City Schools Stadium.

The sophomore running back scored from 1 yard and 61 yards as the host Jets led 14-10 at halftime. Anthony Ortiz kicked a 30-yard field goal in the third quarter.
