0 Victories and 17 losses for Missouri against the team ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll. Georgia is No. 1 in this week’s AP Poll, as it has been for both of its previous two meetings against Missouri. This is the first time in the Tigers’ history that they have played the No. 1 team in three consecutive seasons.

6 Points are needed by Missouri K Harrison Mevis to become the school’s career leading scorer. With 75 field goals and 132 extra points, Mevis has scored 357 points. Jeff Wolfert scored 362 points – 59 field goals and 185 extra points – for Missouri from 2006 through 2008.

7 More points have been scored in the second quarter by Georgia this season than the Bulldogs’ opponents have scored overall in 2023. Georgia has a 125-28 scoring advantage in the second quarter while outscoring its opponents 324-118 overall in 2023.

11 Victories for Georgia and one victory for Missouri in the Bulldogs-Tigers series. The Tigers’ lone victory in the now annual series came in 2013, when No. 25 Missouri posted a 41-26 win over No. 7 Georgia in Athens. The programs played once before Missouri joined the SEC in 2012. In the schools’ first meeting, No. 5 Georgia defeated No. 18 Missouri 14-0 in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 1, 1960. The Bulldogs have been ranked for all but one of their games against Missouri. Saturday’s game will be the first time that Missouri has been ranked for the contest since 2014.

14 Years since Georgia lost a conference game at home in November. The most recent SEC opponent to win at Sanford Stadium in November is Kentucky, which scored a 34-27 victory in Athens on Nov. 21, 2009. The Bulldogs’ winning streak covers 14 games with four victories over Kentucky, four over Auburn, two over Missouri, one over Ole Miss, one over Texas A&M, one over Mississippi State and one over Tennessee.

16 Consecutive victories have been tallied by Georgia in the game after its annual contest against Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. Since Kentucky beat the Bulldogs 24-20 after the Florida game in 2006, Georgia has defeated Kentucky five times, Missouri twice, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee once apiece and five non-conference opponents in the game after playing the Gators.

20 Consecutive AP polls have featured Georgia as the No. 1 team, the third-longest streak in the history of the rankings. Southern Cal spent 33 consecutive polls at No. 1 across the 2003 and 2005 seasons, and Miami (Fla.) was in the top spot for 21 polls in a row during the 2001 and 2002 campaigns. The most recent poll without Georgia at No. 1 came on Oct. 2, 2022. Georgia had the most first-place votes that week but finished two points behind Alabama in the balloting. Georgia is No. 2 in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings.

23 Consecutive home games have been won by Georgia, the second-longest such streak in school history and the longest current streak in the nation. Georgia had a 24-game home winning streak that began with a 42-0 victory over Texas A&M on Sept. 13, 1980, and was ended by a 13-7 loss to Auburn on Nov. 12, 1983. The current home streak began with a 21-0 shutout of Kentucky on Oct. 19, 2019, a week after a 20-17 loss to South Carolina at Sanford Stadium.

24 Consecutive conference regular-season games have been won by Georgia. Georgia has the second-longest conference winning streak in SEC history. The record is a 27-game SEC streak achieved by Alabama that started with a 20-13 victory over Tennessee on Oct. 16, 1976, and was ended by a 6-3 loss to Mississippi State on Nov. 1, 1980.

25 Third downs have been converted into first downs by Georgia’s opponents this season, the fewest in the nation. The Bulldogs have held their opponents to a 25 percent success rate on third down. The Missouri offense has converted 39 of its 94 third-down snaps into first downs in 2023, a success rate of 41.5 percent.

25 Consecutive victories for Georgia, the longest winning streak in program history. Georgia’s most recent loss was a 41-24 setback against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 4, 2021. The Bulldogs have the fourth-longest winning streak in SEC history. The league record is 28 wins in row accomplished by Alabama during the 1978, 1979 and 1980 seasons and equaled by the Crimson Tide during the 1991, 1992 and 1993 seasons. Alabama had a 26-game winning streak across the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

35 Consecutive regular-season games have been won by Georgia, the longest streak in SEC history. The Bulldogs haven’t lost in the regular season since a 44-28 setback against Florida on Nov. 7, 2020. The 35-game streak is tied for the ninth-longest in major-college football history. Boise State won 35 consecutive regular-season games across the 2008 through 2010 seasons. The longest regular-season winning streak in major-college football history is 45 games by Oklahoma between a 7-7 tie with Pittsburgh on Oct. 3, 1953, and a 7-0 setback against Notre Dame on Nov. 16, 1957.

61 Receptions for Missouri WR Luther Burden III this season, the most in the SEC. Burden has 905 receiving yards and six TD receptions.

166.2 Is the passing-efficiency rating for Georgia QB Carson Beck and Missouri QB Brady Cook this season. Cook has completed 169-of-242 passes for 2,259 yards with 15 TDs and three interceptions and Beck has completed 192-of-263 passes for 2,462 yards with 14 TDs and four interceptions in 2023.

367 Games have been played by Georgia since it was most recently shut out, the second-longest scoring streak in SEC history and the third-longest in major-college football history. The Bulldogs haven’t been blanked since losing to Alabama 31-0 on Sept. 30, 1995.
