1 Player in the nation has at least 24 receptions and 503 rushing yards during the 2022 season. Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs has caught 27 passes for 268 yards and three TDs and run for 635 yards and five TDs on 88 carries.

1 TD pass is needed by Mississippi State QB Will Rogers to stand alone as the school’s career leader. Dak Prescott set the MSU career record with 70 TD passes during the 2012 through 2015 seasons. Rogers enters Saturday’s game with 70 career TD passes, but he has not thrown for a TD against Alabama. In two games against the Crimson Tide, Rogers has completed 59-of-92 passes for 447 yards with no TDs and five interceptions.

1 Player in school history has scored more points than Alabama K Will Reichard, who enters Saturday’s game with 363. Reichard trails Leigh Tiffin, who holds the school record with 385 points.

2 Straight games without a sack for Alabama LB Will Anderson Jr. entering Saturday’s contest. Since he recorded his first sack against Auburn on Nov. 28, 2020, Anderson has never gone more than two games without a sack. Anderson ranks second on Alabama’s career list with 29.5 sacks, including four in the Crimson Tide’s 49-9 victory over Mississippi State last season.

3 Players in Alabama history have accumulated more yards of total offense than QB Bryce Young, who has 6,812 – 970 behind No. 3 Tua Tagovailoa in the school’s career rankings. The Alabama record-holder is AJ McCarron, with 8,969 yards of total offense from 2010 through 2013. Young also ranks fourth in Crimson Tide history in passing yards with 6,685. Young is 757 passing yards behind Tagovailoa on that list. McCarron also holds the Tide passing record with 9,019 yards.

3 Consecutive games with at least 100 rushing yards for Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs. He ran for 206 yards and two TDs on 18 carries against Arkansas on Oct. 1, 154 yards on 21 carries against Texas A&M on Oct. 8 and 103 yards and three TDs on 24 carries against Tennessee on Oct. 15.

4 Current Mississippi State players rank in the Bulldogs’ top 10 of career receptions. RB Jo’quavious Marks is second with 173 receptions, RB Dillon Johnson is eighth with 132, WR Austin Williams is ninth with 131 and WR Jaden Walley is 10th with 121.

5 Interceptions have been returned for TDs by Mississippi State CB Emmanuel Forbes, who scored on a 59-yard interception return with 8:33 left in the Bulldogs’ 27-17 loss to Kentucky last week. Forbes tied the SEC record for career interception-return TDs set by Tennessee LB Jackie Walker from 1969 through 1971. Forbes had three interception-return TDs as a freshman in 2020 and another against Texas A&M on Oct. 1. Forbes has intercepted four passes in the past three games.

7 400-yard passing games for Mississippi State QB Will Rogers, tied for the most in SEC history. Kentucky QB Tim Couch had seven 400-yard passing games in the 1997 and 1998 seasons.

13 Consecutive victories for Alabama over Mississippi State when both teams are ranked. Saturday’s game will be the 15th in which both teams are ranked in the AP Poll. In the first one, No. 11 MSU defeated No. 17 Alabama 13-0 on Nov. 30, 1940. The Crimson Tide won ranked-vs.-ranked games in 1974, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1992, 1994, 1999, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. Alabama has a 46-5 record when playing as a ranked team against Mississippi State. Mississippi State has a 3-16 record when playing as a ranked team against Alabama.

14 Consecutive games against Mississippi State have been won by Alabama. The Crimson Tide hasn’t lost to the Bulldogs since MSU defeated No. 21 Alabama 17-12 in 2007. Alabama leads the series 86-17-3 on the field. Alabama has played and beaten Mississippi State more times than it has any other opponent. The teams have squared off annually since 1948.

15 Consecutive Mississippi State red-zone possessions have ended with TDs. MSU is 21-of-22 on red-zone possessions, with 20 TDs in 2022.

21 Consecutive Alabama-Mississippi State games have featured points in the second quarter for the Crimson Tide. The Bulldogs haven’t shut out Alabama in the second period since MSU’s 29-7 victory in 2000. Since then, the Tide has outscored the Bulldogs 209-57 in the second quarter.

30 Consecutive games with a reception for Mississippi State RB Jo’quavious Marks, who has caught a pass in every game in his college career. Marks has 173 receptions for 970 yards and three TDs.

37 Consecutive home games have been won in October by Alabama. The Crimson Tide hasn’t been beaten at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the 10th month since South Carolina took a 20-3 victory on Oct. 2, 2004.

97 Victories and 45 losses for Alabama coach Nick Saban in games against opponents ranked in the AP Poll. Saban has the most coaching victories against ranked opponents after passing former Penn State coach Joe Paterno, who had an 86-82 record against ranked teams.

121 Games have been played by Alabama since the Crimson Tide most recently lost two in a row, the nation’s longest streak without consecutive losses. Alabama fell to Auburn 34-28 and to Oklahoma 45-31 in the Sugar Bowl to end the 2013 season. Alabama has lost 11 games since the back-to-back losses, including last week’s 52-49 setback against Tennessee last week.

290 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out, a school record and tied for the third-longest scoring streak in SEC history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000. Tennessee had scored in 290 consecutive games when it was beaten 41-0 by Georgia on Sept. 30, 2017. Florida has a 430-game scoring streak going, and Georgia has scored in its past 351 games.

319 Yards on 18 punt returns for Alabama’s Kool-Aid McKinstry, 80 more yards than any other player in the nation has in the 2022 season. Mississippi State has allowed an average of 5.0 yards on 11 punt-returns this season.

350 Games for Nick Saban as a college head coach when Alabama takes the field on Saturday. Saban has an on-the-field college record of 280-68-1 with stops at Toledo, Michigan State and LSU before joining the Crimson Tide. His record as an SEC coach is 237-42, with a 137-29 mark in conference regular-season games. At Alabama, Saban has a 189-26 record, with a 109-17 mark in conference regular-season games.

455 Passing yards for Alabama QB Bryce Young last week, when he completed 35-of-52 passes with two TDs and no interceptions in a 52-49 loss to Tennessee. Young posted the fourth-most passing yards by an Alabama player in a single game as the Crimson Tide had its 17th game with at least 400 passing yards. Alabama has a 14-3 record in those games. The Tide also lost to Auburn 49-26 on Nov. 29, 1969, when Scott Hunter had 484 passing yards, and 46-41 to LSU on Nov. 9, 2019, when Tua Tagovailoa had 418 passing yards.
