Mississippi State-Auburn football kickoff time, broadcast information announced
When the Mississippi State Bulldogs come to Auburn on Oct. 28, it’ll be the second week in a row first-year head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers host a team from the Magnolia State.
Auburn is first set to see Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss this coming Saturday for a game that’s set to kick off at 6 p.m. from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
On Oct. 28, it’ll be the cowbell-yielding Mississippi State Bulldogs from Starkville that come to The Plains for a game that will kick off at 2:30 p.m., the SEC announced Monday morning. Auburn’s battle with Mississippi State will be broadcasted on SEC Network.
The Tigers’ meeting with the Bulldogs on Halloween weekend will be the 97th game played in the series, which dates back to Oct. 27, 1905.
And while Auburn holds a 62-31-3 record of Mississippi State, Freeze and the Tigers will be tasked with snapping a two-game losing streak to the Bulldogs, who won a 43-34 affair in Jordan-Hare in 2021 and beat the Tigers 39-33 last fall in Starkville.
When the two SEC West programs meet on Oct. 28, Auburn will be coming off a game against Ole Miss and Mississippi State will be coming off a game at Arkansas.
