Mick Jagger‘s 8-year-old son, Deveraux, was recently hospitalized after an accident.
Deveraux’s mother, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, shared the news on social media showing her son using a crutch.
“Nothing feels more true – When they hurt you hurt. He’ll be back playing football again in no time though,” she posted.
The nature of the injury wasn’t revealed.
Per Parade, Jagger, the Rolling Stones singer, has seven other kids ranging in age from 54 to 25, whom he shares with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez Morad. He is also father to Karis, 54; Jade, 53; Elizabeth, 40; James, 39; Georgia May, 33; Gabriel, 27; and Lucas 25.
“You get a bit out of practice – it’s not like riding a bike,” Jagger told The Guardian in 2023. “The more children you have, the more laissez-faire you get about them, to be honest.”
