MGM quarterback Jared Hollins commits to South Alabama
Mary G. Montgomery quarterback Jared Hollins on Sunday became the latest Mobile-area standout to commit to his hometown school.
Hollins has committed to South Alabama, continuing a red-hot streak for the Jaguars. South Alabama now has nine commitments for its 2024 class, seven of which have announced their decision since Friday.
Hollins announced his commitment via Twitter:
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Hollins is listed as an “athlete” by many recruiting services, but was recruited by South Alabama as a quarterback. A second-team All-Coastal Alabama pick in 2022, he passed for 2,152 yards and 21 touchdowns with just two interceptions for a Vikings team that went 6-5 and reached the playoffs for the first time in 20 years.
