Mega thrift store to open new location
A local investor paid $900,000 for the T&T Silk Flowers & Plants building at 5630 U.S. 90 in Tillman’s Corner, according to Brandon Broadus of CRE Mobile, who handled the transaction. The florist will continue to operate in the 22,650-square-foot building.
An out-of-state investor paid $600,000 for a 10,300-square-foot building at 3140 Lees Lane in Mobile, according to Angie McArthur and Kaelan McArthur of Stirling, who represented the seller. The building is fully leased.
America’s Thrift Stores has leased 31,478-square-feet of retail space in the Mobile Festival Centre at 3725 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, according to Angie McArthur and Kaelan McArthur of Stirling, who represented the landlord. Zac Qualls of Haag Brown worked for the tenant. This will be America’s Thrift Stores’ third location on the Gulf Coast and the store and an attached drive-up donation center is scheduled to open in March.
