Meet Carla Vernón, the new CEO of The Honest Company
If it’s Monday it means it’s time for a new round of Reckon Firsts. This week we’re stepping into the boardroom with Carla Vernón.
Carla Vernón, a true trailblazer, has joined The Honest Company as CEO, making history as the first Afro-Latina CEO of a U.S. publicly traded company. With an impressive background in growing consumer-driven brands, including her tenure at Amazon and General Mills, Carla has proven her leadership skills and knack for driving double-digit growth. Her passion for empowering multicultural groups extends beyond the boardroom, as she co-founded the Princeton Tiger Sisters network. Now, alongside Honest’s founder Jessica Alba, Carla is determined to take the company to new heights, expanding its awareness as a purpose-driven brand offering clean and conscious consumer products designed for everyone.
