McDonalds is bringing back this fan-favorite sandwich
A new sandwich is returning to McDonald’s menus.
The fast food chain is reportedly bringing back the Chicken Big Mac, a twist on the classic Big Mac that replaces the sandwich’s beef with two tempura chicken patties.
According to Quartz, talks of the new big sandwich come after McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski taste-tested the Chicken Big Mac in March 2024. Back in 2022, the sandwich was tested as a limited-time offer in Miami.
The sandwich has been popular internationally, particularly in the U.K. and Australia.
McDonald’s has yet to announce when the Chicken Big Mac will be available but according to All Recipes, some online sources say the sandwich is popping up in Florida now. According to the food blogger Burger Beast, some locations in Miami already have the Chicken Big Mac. Burger Beast also found the sandwich on the McDonald’s app for $4.99.
