Matt Rife adds second show in Birmingham: How to get tickets
Comedian Matt Rife just announced a second show in Birmingham. The social media phenom will headline two shows at the BJCC Concert Hall Sunday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., as part of his “ProbleMATTic” tour.
Tickets for the show go on sale via Ticketmaster Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m. CST. They cost $75, $59.50 and $49.50. As of now, pre-sale tickets are sold out for the 8 p.m. show. The pre-sale tickets for the 5 p.m. show is expected to sell out soon.
Rife has gained a huge following on TikTok of 14 million followers and over 2 billion views worldwide. He’s known for his witty conversations with audience members (also known as “crowd work”) at his shows which has gained him a huge buzz in comedy.
The comedian is from a town near Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Los Angeles at 17 years old to start his career. In addition to stand up, Rife has made his debut on national television on shows like “MTV’s Wild ‘N Out,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Fresh Off the Boat” and NBC’s comedy competition show, “Bring The Funny.”
Rife will headline his own worldwide tour with Live Nation kicking off on July 20.
