Marshall County officials say more charges are likely for a Guntersville man who is already in jail, accused of possessing child pornography.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Corey Jacob Vickery, 28, was arrested Aug. 12 following a search at a home in the 2500 block of Deerman Street.

The charges came following a joint investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

Vickey faces 10 counts of child pornography possession, five counts of possession with intent to disseminate, and production of child pornography with minors.

He is being held in the Marshall County Jail. Bond has been set at $500,000.

Guntersville Police Department, Marshall County District Attorney’s Office, and the Marshall County Drug Task Force assisted in the arrest.
