Marjorie Taylor Greene: If Trumpâs elected âis it possible that Iâll be VP?â
Asked if she might consider a run for U.S. Senate, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution it all depends on whether Donald Trump is elected in 2024 and whether he takes her with him to Washington.
From the AJC:
“I haven’t made up my mind whether I will do that or not,” said Greene (of a Senate run). “I have a lot of things to think about. Am I going to be a part of President Trump’s Cabinet if he wins? Is it possible that I’ll be VP?”
“Greene called serving as Trump’s running mate “an honor” and something she would consider “very, very heavily.” She’d previously shunned suggestions that she join Trump on the GOP’s 2024 presidential ticket.”
Earlier this year, Greene denied she was seeking to be Trump’s running mate.
“I don’t even think he’s talking about it,” she said. “It’s pretty early.”
