Huntsville authorities are on the scene of a death investigation Friday morning after a body was found in a creek.

Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services said a man’s body was discovered in Pinhook Creek at Leeman Ferry Road and Drake Avenue near Brahan Spring Park.

It was unclear how long the body had been there.

HEMSI and Huntsville Fire and Rescue responded.

Police are investigating.
