Man’s body discovered in Joe Wheeler State Park
A man’s body was discovered Monday afternoon in Joe Wheeler State Park.
Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones said the man, whose name was not released, was 23 years old.
The remains were removed from the area later in the evening and taken to the Alabama Department of Forensics for an autopsy.
The cause of death is currently unknown.
