Authorities in Morgan County have arrested a person who allegedly threw a rock through a window at the jail’s entrance.

The incident happened Monday and was documented on the department’s Facebook page.

“There are many routes that one can take to end up in jail….this is a new one,” the post read.

“A gentleman came to the jail lobby, picked up a rock and smashed our window. Then, opened the door and walked in to be arrested.”

Authorities have not yet released the name of the person or any possible charges.

That didn’t stop people on social media from speculating as to his reasons.

“Guess he needed a place to stay outta this heat,” wrote Cyndi Hastings-Elmore.

Shayneah VanWagnen joked, “I’ll do this so I can call in tomorrow.”

“He couldn’t figure out the pull method,” Morgan Reeves speculated.
