Man shot to death by Decatur police in front yard
Multiple media reports say one person was shot to death in Decatur early Friday morning by police.
WAFF is reporting that the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Decatur dispatch center received a request from Decatur police to respond to a shooting call just before 2 a.m.
The incident happened in the area of Ryan Drive and Poole Valley Road, according to WHNT.
WAAY is reporting a man was shot in the front yard of a house along the 3900 block of Ryan Drive.
The shooting victim was later taken to Huntsville Hospital where he died. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
