Man shot to death at Talladega convenience store after altercation with 3 people, police say

Talladega police are investigating a homicide after a convenience store shooting on Monday.

According to the Talladega Police Department, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound after being called to Stephen J. White Blvd.

The victim, Natavious Damonta Brown, was transported to a local hospital but died from his injuries. Brown was 25 years old.

Prior to the shooting Brown was allegedly involved in an altercation with three individuals, the department said.

The shooting occurred at the Tiger Mart convenience store on 315 East St. North in Talladega.
