A man shot in the face in Grant last week has died from his injuries.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office today said Gregory Allen Jarrett, 28 of Grant, died Saturday at Huntsville Hospital.
The body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, where an autopsy will be scheduled later this week.

County deputies and Grant Police responded to a call last Thursday at a home in the 2500 block of Eleven Forty Road in the Simpson Point community near Grant.
A Grant police officer was first to arrive and found Jarrett with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the face, lying in the front yard of the residence.
Two other people were contacted at the scene, on the front porch of the house.
The sheriff’s office says a shooter in the case has been identified. However, no charges have yet been filed.
