Man missing from Birmingham believed to be in extreme danger
A search is underway for a Birmingham man missing since the weekend.
Jewel Jones Bendolph, 38, was last seen about 4 a.m. Sunday at the BP gas station in Birmingham’s Mason City which is near Ishkooda Road.
Birmingham police said they believe Bendolph was seen arguing with someone before his disappearance.
Family said his cell phone last pinged off a tower in the Center Point and Roebuck areas.

Bendolph’s vehicle is also missing. It is a 1999 silver, four-door Honda Civic with Alabama license plate number 1FB8610. Family said the car has a cracked windshield and a broke passenger’s side taillight.
Bendolph is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weights 180 pounds.
