A 32-year-old Mobile man was killed in a single-vehicle accident over the Memorial Day weekend, Mobile police said Tuesday.

Officers were notified of an accident at the interchange between Interstate 65 and Interstate 10 about 4:40 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim, Tyrone Gerald Cleveland Jr. of Mobile dead from injuries sustained in the crash.

Initial investigation indicated Cleveland’s vehicle was traveling north on the I-65 ramp from the I-10 east interchange when it struck a guard rail and left the roadway.

No other details were released.
