Mobile police are investigating a shooting that injured one person at a local restaurant.

According to the Mobile Police Department, the shooting occurred at The River Shack on Sunday night. Officers responded at about 11:25 p.m. and discovered a man with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim and another man allegedly got into an argument as the restaurant was closing, according to the department. Police said a suspect shot the victim and then drove away before police arrived.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and released Monday morning.

The incident is still being investigated, police said.
