A man was found shot to death near his home in Prichard late Friday night, authorities said Monday.

Officers received a call of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Friday at Church and Edison streets, Prichard police told Fox 10.

At the scene, officers found the body of 29-year-old Darryl Moffett, who was found outside his home and shot at least one time.

No suspects were in custody as of Monday.
