Man dies in ATV crash in Randolph County
A man died in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Randolph County early Monday.
Patrick E. Malloy, 58, of Brookhaven Georgia, was killed when the 2022 Honda Pioneer he was riding in overturned, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
“Malloy was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash,” the agency said in a statement Monday.
The vehicle’s driver, Jeffrey Timothy, 47, of Marietta, Georgia, was taken to Tanner Medical Center in Wedowee, according to the agency.
The accident happened on Dogwood Ridge North, about eight miles West of Wedowee. The agency is continuing to investigate the crash.
