The gunshot victim critically wounded Monday night in Mobile has died of their injuries, police said Tuesday.

William Rundle, 35, has been identified as the victim found shot around 7:40 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Griffith Circle West, said Cpl. Katrina Frazier.

Rundle, who was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, has since died.

Police did not say exactly when Rundle died.

The investigation into the fatal shooting was ongoing as of late Tuesday afternoon.
