Man charged with murder in fatal shooting of Montgomery woman, 22
A man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman early Thursday morning in Montgomery, police said.
Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 4000 block of Amesbury Drive around 6:25 a.m. Thursday on a report of a person shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
At the scene, authorities found 22-year-old Montgomery resident Brenisha Snow, who was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.,
Snow was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, said Coleman.
Police charged 23-year-old Elijah Jackson, also of Montgomery, with murder in Snow’s death.
He is being held in the Montgomery County jail without bond.
