A video taken by Walt Disney World vloggers has gone viral, showing a guest at Disney’s EPCOT resort jumping off a walkway bridge into a lagoon.

The video, posted to the DisFamily Adventures YouTube account, as well as other social media accounts, shows the man climbing over the bridge railing and then standing over the water for several moments. At one point, he asks “How deep is the water?”

Although his friends egged him on, other bystanders warned him of the consequences.

“You’re gonna get kicked out of Disney, mister,” one person says.

According to Brendan and Gwyn (no last name provided) of DisFamily Adventures told Orlando’s FOX 35 the incident took place about 5:30 p.m. Monday near EPCOT’s Italy pavilion. They were simply walking by when they overheard the man and his friends “acting up.”

The man and his friends were reportedly discussing a bet, with the man’s friends saying they’d give him $6,000 if he jumped. He did, quickly making his way back onto the sidewalk before raising his arms in triumph.

Whether the man collected on the bet after jumping in the water is unknown. What is known is that Disney security was quickly alerted.

“A Disney manager was on her radio before he even hit the water, so when he joined his buddies, Disney security was right behind him,” Brendan and Gwyn told the TV station.

Even if the man didn’t collect on the $6,000 promised by his friends, he likely won’t come away from the incident empty-handed. He’ll likely be the recipient of a lifetime ban from all Disney parks, although FOX 35 said Disney had yet to publicly disclose whether the man had been banned or criminal charges filed.
