Man accused of posing as federal agent to stage Madison County home invasion
Madison County authorities have made an arrest after they say two men staged a home invasion last month, claiming to be federal agents.
One of the men responsible is still at large, Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Brent Patterson said.
Harvey Fisher, 43, is being held in the Madison County Jail without bond, facing charges of first degree robbery and impersonating an officer.
According to Patterson, Fisher and another man forced their way into a home on Ford Chapel Road on Sept. 29, posing as federal agents.
They took money and fled. It is unclear how much money the two made off with, Patterson said.
Fisher was taken into custody late Thursday night.
Patterson did not identify the other man, who authorities are still seeking.
