An investigation is underway in Mobile after a male was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot Monday night, police said.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of Griffith Circle West around 7:40 p.m. Monday on a call of a male victim shot, said Cpl. Katrina Frazier.

No arrests have been made in the incident, police said, and the investigation remained ongoing as of Monday night.
