Madison police arrest suspect in bank robbery

A Madison County man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery last week.

James Kevin McQueen, 57, of Madison County, was booked into the Madison County Jail at 3:18 p.m. Thursday, according to jail records.

He is being held in the Madison County Jail without bond on charges of first degree robbery.

According to Madison police, McQueen is being charged in connection with the Aug. 25 robbery of PNC Bank at 3735 Sullivan St.

The robbery suspect had already fled the scene when officers arrived. Police released an image from security cameras of the robber as he fled.

Police are continuing to investigate.
