An enraged machete wielding driver can be seen accosting another driver in the parking lot of a Zaxby’s drive thru in Mobile, according to newly released camera footage.

The incident occurred on Dec. 11 after the attacker became upset that he was cut off in traffic while traveling on Halls Mill Road, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Police said the suspect followed the car who cut him off into a Zaxby’s on Rangeline Road.

Camera footage from the restaurant proceeded to capture a man get out his car holding a machete and approach a white car in front of him.

The man is seen verbally accosting the victim and holds the machete up to the car window. After several seconds, the assailant begins to walk away and slides the machete across the side of the victim’s car before driving away.

Police arrived after the man had already left the scene.

The department said it is still looking for the suspect in the incident.
