36 Victories and 34 losses for Jeff Brohm in six seasons as Purdue’s head coach. Brohm has left the Boilermakers to become the head coach at his alma mater, Louisville. His brother, Purdue offensive coordinator Brian Brohm, will serve as the Boilermakers’ interim head coach for the Citrus Bowl. Illinois defensive coordinator Ryan Walters will be Purdue’s head coach in 2023.

199 Passing yards this season for Austin Burton, Purdue’s probable starter at quarterback on Monday after Aidan O’Connell decided not to play in the game. O’Connell completed 320-of-499 passes for 3,490 yards with 22 TDs and 13 interceptions in 2022. Burton has completed 24-of-32 passes with three TDs and one interception this season. Burton’s targets will not include WR Charlie Jones and TE Payne Durham, the Boilermakers’ top two receivers in 2022. With 110 receptions, Jones had the most in the nation entering the bowl season. He had 1,361 receiving yards and 12 TDs. Durham had 56 receptions for 560 yards and 10 TDs. Neither receiver will play in the Citrus Bowl.

245 Days after LSU ends its 2022 season in the Citrus Bowl, the Tigers will be back at Camping World Stadium to kick off their 2023 campaign. LSU is scheduled to open next season against Florida State in Orlando.

326 Yards and one TD on 19 receptions for LSU WR Malik Nabers in the past three games. Nabers’ single-game high for the 2022 season had been 81 yards until he had 129 receiving yards in a 41-10 victory over UAB on Nov. 19. He had 128 receiving yards in the Tigers’ 50-30 loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 3. Nabers leads LSU with 63 receptions for 854 yards and two TDs this season.

920 Rushing yards and nine TDs on 182 carries for Purdue RB Devin Mockobee in 2022. The walk-on set a school record for rushing yards by a freshman.
