1 Kicker in NCAA FBS history has scored more points than Alabama’s Will Reichard, who has 496. Austin Seibert scored 499 points for Oklahoma from 2015 through 2018.

2 Players in major-college football history have had at least 11,000 passing yards and 2,000 rushing yards — current LSU QB Jayden Daniels and former Central Michigan QB Dan LeFevour. Current LSU head coach Brian Kelly also coached LeFevour.

2 Opponents have defeated Alabama in consecutive seasons since Nick Saban became the Crimson Tide’s coach in 2007. LSU defeated Alabama in 2010 and 2011 and Ole Miss defeated the Tide in 2014 and 2015. LSU defeated Alabama 32-31 in overtime last season.

3 SEC teams have scored at least 48 points in four consecutive games, including LSU in its past four. The Tigers lost to Ole Miss 55-49 on Sept. 30 and defeated Missouri 49-39 on Oct. 7, Auburn 48-18 on Oct. 14 and Army 62-0 on Oct. 21. In 1945, Alabama defeated Kentucky 60-19, Vanderbilt 71-0, Pensacola Naval Air Station 55-6 and Mississippi State 55-13 in consecutive games. 5 Seasons were spent as LSU’s coach by Alabama coach Nick Saban. He had a 48-16 record with the Tigers from 2000 through 2004. Saban has an 12-5 record against LSU as Alabama’s coach. He had a 4-1 record against Alabama as LSU’s coach.

10 Of Alabama QB Jalen Milroe’s 13 TD passes in 2023 have covered at least 29 yards. (The other three were 10-, 15- and 19-yard passes.) Six of Milroe’s 10 40-yard completions have gone for touchdowns this season, and his average gain of 10.6 yards per pass ranks second in the nation to LSU QB Jayden Daniels, who has an average of 11.5 yards per pass.

47.4 Points and 552.9 yards per game have been averaged by LSU this season. Both figures are the best in the nation. Alabama has yielded an average of 16.5 points and 306.4 yards per game in 2023.

87 Previous games have been played between LSU and Alabama. The Crimson Tide leads the series 55-27-5.

102 Victories and 47 losses for Alabama coach Nick Saban in games against opponents ranked in the AP Poll. Saban has the most coaching victories against ranked opponents after passing former Penn State coach Joe Paterno, who had an 86-82 record against ranked teams. Twenty-three of Saban’s victories have come with a margin of victory of 25 or more points.

204.32 Is the passing-efficiency rating for LSU QB Jayden Daniels this season, the best in the nation. Daniels has completed 163-of-223 passes for 2,573 yards with 25 TDs and three interceptions. He leads the nation in TD passes and in total offense with an average of 388.6 yards per game. The highest single-season passing-efficiency rating in SEC history is 203.06 by Alabama QB Mac Jones in 2020.

304 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out. Alabama’s scoring streak is the third-longest in SEC history and the 14th-longest in major-college football history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000.

592 Combined on-the-field victories for LSU coach Brian Kelly and Alabama coach Nick Saban. Kelly has a 300-103-2 on-the-field career record with 118 victories at Grand Valley State, 113 at Notre Dame, 34 at Cincinnati, 19 at Central Michigan and 16 at LSU. Saban has a 292-70-1 on-the-field career record with 201 victories at Alabama, 48 at LSU, 34 at Michigan State and nine at Toledo. Kelly and Saban have been on opposite sidelines three times previously. Saban and Alabama defeated Kelly and Notre Dame 42-14 in the BCS national-championship game for the 2012 season and 31-14 in the Rose Bowl, a CFP semifinal game for the 2020 season. Last season, Kelly and LSU defeated Saban and Alabama 32-31 in overtime.

981 Receiving yards for LSU WR Malik Nabers this season, the most in the nation. Nabers has 56 receptions, with nine accounting for TDs. With 19 more receiving yards, Nabers would join Josh Reed as the only LSU players to record two 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Nabers had 1,017 receiving yards last season.
