Auburn and Alabama lost challenging games late Wednesday night to end up in a win-or-go-home game in the Iron Bowl of Baseball. Alabama took a three-run lead into the bottom of the 11th inning against No. 1 seed Florida. The Gators downed the Tide 7-6 with a walk-off three-run home run.
Auburn had three home runs, including a two-run homer in the ninth inning by Bryson Ware. The Ware homer brought the Tigers within two runs, but it wasn’t enough to defeat No. 4 seed Vanderbilt. Auburn lost 6-4 against the Commodores.
