The Auburn Tigers (33-19-1, 7-13 SEC) begins its SEC tournament play on Tuesday at 8:55 CT on SEC Network under the lights at the Hoover Met against the Missouri Tigers (30-23, 10-20 SEC).

Butch Thompson’s squad enters the tournament on an eight-game winning streak, including a three-game sweep of the Missouri last weekend at Plainsman Park in the season finale.

Tommy Vail (5-1, 3.38) is the starting pitcher for Auburn against Missouri’s LHP Javyn Pimental (1-1, 6.26). Vail is the SEC with a 1.47 ERA over the last six weeks and is 3-0 with 35 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings. Auburn finished the season with a 12-3 record in conference play and are 10-2 Vail’s starts this season.
