Live updates: No. 4 Alabama trying to stay perfect in SEC road game
Conference play continues for No. 4 Alabama on Saturday against Missouri. Following an emotional win at Vanderbilt on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide look for its seventh-straight SEC win and eighth overall to improve a 16-2 record.
The Tigers (14-4, 3-3) received votes in the recent AP poll following a comeback win against then-No. 25 Arkansas. Like most teams, Missouri is stronger at home, shooting 3-pointers at a better clip (36.9) and generating turnovers. Opposing freshman Brandon Miller (20.1 points per game) will be the duo of senior forward Kobe Brown (from Huntsville) and grad-student guard D’Moi Hodge. The upperclassmen combine for 30.2 points a game.
Nate Oats has yet to lead Alabama to a win at Mizzou Arena in three tries. Oats has “addressed” potential taunts aimed at the Tide following the arrest of Darius Miles earlier this month.
The 5 p.m. tipoff will air on the SEC Network. Refresh this page for live updates as Brandon Miller and the Tide look to stay perfect in the conference.
