Live updates: Nick Saban holds press conference after Texas upsets Alabama at home
Alabama football sputtered in a 34-24 loss against Texas inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
It ended a Crimson Tide streak of 29-straight wins in September. The last loss came to Ole Miss in 2015, a four-point final. Nick Saban had only lost once as UA’s head coach to a non-conference team at home, too, before a former assistant delivered an upset.
Saban will meet with the reporters to talk about the No. 3 Tide’s (1-1) performance as well as Texas’ ability to create big plays when he meets with reporters in a few minutes.
