Live updates: Kalen DeBoer previews Alabama spring football game

Alabama football completed its final non-scrimmage practice of the spring on Thursday. An eventful offseason will resume with Saturday’s A-Day spring game. It’ll be the first for new UA coach Kalen DeBoer.

What can fans expect?

DeBoer is expected to preview the event during his final news conference before the Tide returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium. At approximately 5:30 p.m., DeBoer will step in front of reporters and cameras.

In addition to talking about his team, DeBoer will likely comment on his former player at Washington, Tybo Rogers. Rogers was arrested for two different rape charges, bringing questions to how UW handled his situation while DeBoer led the football program. DeBoer issued a statement earlier in the afternoon.

DeBoer may also give an update on two UA linemen: Parker Brailsford and Jaeden Roberts. The former is currently working with the strength team. Roberts was injured in Alabama’s second scrimmage.
